What advantage is there in getting property protection in Mafia Wars?

lol I had the same problem. Until you get to a higher level it is really just useless. You need really high defense to with stand all the roberies, so what I ended up doing was going back and mastering all the jobs. Each time I leveled up I put all 5 into energy, but every time I mastered a job I put it into defense. My defense is like 80+ now and I barely get robbed, when you have lot’s of property protecting it is important since you still get robbed but you make more than you spend, and if you get robbed without protection you get less income so protection is worth it.
you need your property to give you cash and while it is damaged it doesnt earn you as much or in extreme damage any cash.
I learnt the hard way cos i didnt get it early on in the game and had some weapons that i had pay upkeep on so when they had took my property down to 0 i ended up with minus figures and had to do lots of jobs and sell the weapons to get the cash needed.
you need more family members and good attack and defence that helps alot
Hello, I’m a level 177 player. Been playing for about 2 months. Property protection helps to defend and slow robberies. It will not prevent robbing. If you’re the victim of serial robbing, its possible to have nothing to rob and still have income. They just changed the rules for MW on Facebook on 4/21/2009….higher level players can no longer attack / rob players greatly different in level than them. It forces you to att/rob ppl at or near your own level.
