SEO Is Easy Why Make Such a Fuss…

Onsite SEO: Google likes an organised page and the best way to “organise” any web page is to use the tools that come with the HTML standard. This means simply using the H1 tag for the key phrase you are optimizing for and use the h2 to h4 tags to emphasize the semantic keywords that go along...

EruptionThe news is spreading around in forums across the net how webmasters and SEO consultants are witnessing there site bounce up and down with in the last week or two.

Questions have been asked directly to Google and the response seems to contradict what everyone is seeing for there own two eyes. Google claims that there is no changes being made to the index at this time. Well we can all assume that this is not accurate at all.

Is Google lying to us?

Now come on do you honestly think they would do us like that, not tell us the truth to a easy question…

There is some shifting that is really going wild in the search results as sites including some of the projects I am working on are falling back then coming forward and repeating the process over and over.

The good thing about the bouncing of sites is that it seemed to start after Christmas so most sites who ranked well did not feel a hit to holiday sales on there sites.

So I figure that the Search Engine Optimization or specifically the Google SEO hunt may begin again as some sites may need to readjust there strategy to fall in line with the lord master Google. The Flamenco Dancer

Think for a second the time that will be spent on working out any new rules that may be in progress at this second. How many webmasters will focus all their time on what I call the algo chase?

Keep in mind that not all websites were affected by this juggling in the search results but the ones that were affected and the ones that concentrate specifically on Google Search alone felt a drop in traffic.

As for my projects and because we focus on Internet Marketing as a whole we really did not see much of a decrease in traffic due to using a number of traffic resources.

Did it affect you and did you site come back to its rightful spot?

Will your site return to its place in the index were it has been?

Don’t get me wrong Google is an important factor in the Internet Marketing strategy but you need to safe guard your site from potential destructive events that may take all of your trust and hard work in Google and toss it in the trash.

It is unclear whether there is a big change being made only after the smoke clears will we be able to tell but consider this if you are not currently exploring addition ways to drive traffic to your website this is the perfect time to start.

Since it is nearly 2010 my resolution is to bring you more in-depth reports on alternative ways to drive traffic to your site and I will bring them to you here so your website and business does not get lost on the Google Dance floor.
